What is Plesk Web Hosting — and when is it enough?
Plesk is the control panel on our web hosting servers. You log in through your browser and get an interface for managing domains, mailboxes, databases, SSL certificates and backups. No Linux commands, no SSH required.
Web hosting is the standard case for most projects: a small website, a WordPress blog, a club homepage, an online shop under moderate load. You share the server with other customers — which keeps the price down and is perfectly sufficient for most applications.
When web hosting stops being enough — say, because you need your own applications with special services or want performance guarantees — there's the Plesk vServer. Same interface, but dedicated resources.

Book a plan
Pick the right plan in the customer center. Once payment arrives, your Plesk account is activated automatically and immediately. You get your Plesk URL, login and FTP credentials by mail.

Set up or transfer your domain
If you register a new domain with us, it's linked automatically. If you bring an existing domain: we send you the right nameservers by mail as soon as your account is active. You then set those at your old provider. It takes 1–24 hours for DNS to propagate worldwide.

Install WordPress or another app
In Plesk:
Applications → Install WordPressor open the Softaculous catalog. The database is created automatically, login arrives by mail. First login to WP admin and off you go. - 4
Activate SSL
In Plesk: select the domain →
SSL/TLS Certificates→ “Let's Encrypt”. Requested and installed immediately, then renewed automatically every 90 days. - 5
Create mailboxes
Plesk → domain → Mail → create email address. Outlook, Apple Mail and iPhone are configured correctly in one click from the Plesk mailbox settings.

Request a migration (optional, €49)
Coming from another provider? Open a ticket with your old credentials or a backup file. For a one-time €49 we migrate your site including the database and all mailboxes. How long it takes depends on how quickly the other side cooperates, how much data has to move, and whether we get efficient access (ideally SSH or a Plesk backup). We start as soon as we can.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move over from another provider?
Yes. We offer a flat-rate migration for a one-time €49 — including all mailboxes and all web data (files plus databases). All you need is credentials for your old host or a backup export (Plesk backup, cPanel account backup, or files plus an SQL dump). Open a ticket and we'll talk timing.
What about WordPress?
From the Pro plan, Plesk ships with the WordPress Toolkit — updates, staging, security scans, all with a click. You can install WordPress in every plan: set up via Softaculous in 30 seconds.
What does Imunify360 do for my website?
Imunify360 is the complete security package from CloudLinux — included in every plan with us. Concretely: (1) A Web Application Firewall with rules updated daily that automatically filters out typical WordPress, Joomla and PHP attacks. (2) An AI malware scanner that continuously checks files for malicious code and automatically cleans up infections it finds — you don't have to dig through PHP files by hand. Do I need SSH access?
For most websites, no. If you need Composer, npm or your own cron jobs: SSH is included in every plan with us — even in Start.

In advance, at intervals that depend on the plan — Start yearly (€35.88), Pro every six months (€29.94), Power quarterly (€26.97), Max monthly (€14.99). That keeps administration lean and avoids mini invoices of €2.99. The minimum term matches the billing interval, and the contract renews automatically for the same period. Notice of cancellation is 7 days before the end of the current period, in writing by email or via the customer center. And if you find within the first 30 days that it's not a fit: the money-back guarantee applies regardless of the interval.
How do the backups work?
Daily and automatic, kept for 7 days. You see them in Plesk and can restore single files, databases or the whole account yourself — no need to contact us.
What happens after 30 days?
If you're not happy, you get your money back. No debate, no hassle.
Which PHP versions are supported?
Currently PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4 — selectable per domain. We keep older versions around for legacy applications that won't migrate.
Is there a limit on domains per plan?
Only a limit on included .de domains (1–3 depending on plan). You can add as many additional domains as you like — those come with their respective domain fees on top.
What if my website gets more traffic?
You can upgrade to the next plan at any time — we move everything internally, no migration on your side. If web hosting really isn't enough anymore (say, because you need your own services): the Plesk vServer is the next step up.
Is mail included in the plan?

Can I use SSH and Git?
Yes, in every plan. You get SSH access to your Plesk area, can deploy Git repositories and set up your own cron jobs. Plesk has built-in Git integration for deployments.
