You pay exactly what’s listed here from day 1 — and it stays the same in years 2, 3 and 4. No “9 cents in year one, then €30” trickery.
Why us?
Mass-market domain sellers love teaser pricing: €0.99 in year one, €29 from year two. If you pay attention, you cancel in time and move on. If you don’t, you pay the premium rate for years without noticing. We don’t play that game.
At xaweho it’s one price, permanently. What you see in the table is what you pay in year one — and in year five. As long as the registry doesn’t change its wholesale prices on us, our prices stay put. If a single TLD really does change (rare, usually small country TLDs), we tell you by email before your next renewal date.
We are not the cheapest provider on the market — if you want to save a few euros a year, you’ll find that elsewhere. But we are noticeably cheaper than the premium registrars (checkdomain, for example), and in support you talk directly to engineers, not to a script.

Transfer/auth code free on request
If you move away, you get the auth code (transfer secret) free of charge on request. No exit fee, no “release price”, no quarter-long notice period. You remain the domain owner at all times — we’re only the intermediary to the registry.
Domain parking page
As long as the domain isn’t connected to an application (web hosting, mail, an external server), we show a plain placeholder page. No ad space for third parties, no hidden affiliate links — just “this domain is reserved”.
No setup fee, no cancellation fee
You pay exactly the yearly price. No one-time registration cost, no surcharge at the end of the contract or on a change of ownership.
Guided DNS migration
When you move a domain to us, we’ll check your existing MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and A records on request, so mail and websites keep running through the switch without a gap. This help is free.
If needed: Whois privacy
For many gTLDs (e.g. .com, .net, .org) we can enable Whois privacy on request, so your personal contact details aren’t public in Whois. For .de that’s been automatic since 2018 anyway (DENIC no longer shows private owner data).
Frequently asked questions
Why is there no promo deal in the first year?
Because that’s a bait tactic, and we refuse to use it. From day one you pay exactly what’s listed on this page — and that price stays the same in years two, three and four (unless the registry passes a price change through to us). No nasty surprises after 12 months.
What’s included in the domain price?
DNS management on our nameservers with any A, AAAA, MX, TXT, CNAME and SRV records. A free transfer/auth code on request if you move away. A plain domain parking page as long as the domain isn’t connected to another application. No setup fee, no cancellation fee.
How does a domain transfer to xaweho work?
You get the auth code (also called “auth info” or “transfer secret”) from your old provider, start a transfer with us and enter the code. For most TLDs the move is done within 24–72 hours, for .de often within a few hours. If you need help, open a ticket — we’re happy to walk you through the switch.
Are more TLDs available that aren’t in the list?
Yes. We can register almost any TLD worldwide (over 900 extensions). We list the top 25 with fixed prices because they cover 95% of requests. For other TLDs (e.g. .law, .cologne, .gmbh, exotic country TLDs), open a short ticket — we’ll quote you the yearly price up front.
Do I also need a web hosting plan for a domain?
No. You can register domains with us purely as a reservation — to lock in a brand name early, for example. The domain then sits on our parking page until you connect it somewhere (with us, with another host, or as a mail domain). If you book it with us together with a Plesk Web Hosting, mail hosting or Nextcloud plan, connecting it takes one click.
How long does a domain contract run?
For most TLDs, a one-year minimum term with automatic renewal for one year at a time. A few special TLDs (e.g. .ai, .tm) have longer minimum terms — if you need one of those, write to us. The cancellation notice period is 10 days before the end of the registration period (see our terms (AGB), § 12).
Who owns the domain — you or me?
You do, always. We register the domain in your name with the respective registry and only act as the intermediary. If you move away, you get the auth code free of charge and can transfer the domain to any registrar you like.
What about Whois and privacy?
For .de, DENIC has not shown personal data publicly in Whois since May 2018 — that’s the default. For many gTLDs (e.g. .com, .net, .org) the registries themselves offer Whois privacy features, which we can enable on request. For some country TLDs, publishing owner data is mandatory — we’ll tell you before registration.
